Brake rotor indexing 200

Hi,

I just got new rotors and I've heard that using a dial indicator to "index" the rotor on the hub is a good thing to do. Does anyone else do this?

Thanks,

Ron

Assuming the hub has some run-out, and that the rotor also has some run-out, the idea is to use one to cancel the other. The two high spots would be indexed 180 degrees apart in other words. I prefer to think that a new rotor is true, and that the hub is as well. I just don't like to have to compensate for new parts I guess.
