Hey everyone! can I replace my crapy plastic headlamps (1990 240 dl) with a four lamp round setup? my local yard has several complete cars with these as well as the rectangular quad type. Has anyone done this mod. on a 1990? Do I need to update my wires? will this work without changing my turn signal lamps? I don't plan on running high output, i just want to be able to see at night! Any help would be great! thanks - Ian

Also you can get the replacement plastic lenses for 29.99 each from ebay.

ok, Go to ebay and get the H euro lenses. There glass.
you wont have to mess with the wiring. There about $200.00 set

Save yourself a ton of money and work. Get a can of Turtle Wax polishing compound and get busy with a cloth.

When your headlights are beautiful and shiny again, follow up with a coating of ArmorAll or Aerospace 303 Protectant.

The whole job should take you 10 minutes, and should become part of your cleaning/waxing regimen.

I make pretty good money by doing this on-site for $10 a car, with a year's guarantee.

You ought to try a spray of oven cleaner on them- that yellow on the outside disappears fast! Spray it on a rag- keep it off your paint and chrome!
