Battery disconnection S90-V90

Other than the code for the radio/stereo will I cause any other problems by disconnecting the battery while I carry out some work i.e. will I have to get anything recoded or recalibrated once I've disconnected the battery for a few hours. Also can I remove either of the stalks (indicator or windscreen wiper) without removing the steering wheel or disconnecting the battery?

    Disconnecting the battery will clear the adaptive memory on the AW30-40 transmission and the engine will need to relearn some parameters but thats not any problem at all.

    Other than the radio code, you should have no problems after disconnecting the battery, which of course must be done with the ignition "OFF". See the FAQ for tips on removing the stalks, which in the 940 can be done using a shortened Torx driver and a small 1/4 inch wrench in which to hold it.
