BC, I’ll believe it when I see it. Some 960/S&V90 owners are zealots. Only one that I know of switched back to a 940. Post this question in the 900 or the S90/V90 forum. Not a lot of readers in “all”. I can’t help you since I am a 940 aficionado.

Years back I made a trip to Lapaz, Bolivia. I was told of culture shock, and it was true. You may be about to experience something simular.

First thing that comes to my mind is that the 960 service - especially in the timing belt area - has to be performed as scheduled. Outside of that read the FAQ's. I have never owned a 960, but anytime you step up in relation to the complexity of the car - there are more things that can go wrong. The cost factor for ownership will be somewhat higher.
