Where's my antenna? 200 1986

My `86 245 doesn't have an antenna.
I didn't just notice this, but now that I'm getting it back on the road, I'm wondering how to install one.
(My clutch paused awaiting funds for a new fork. The old one was worn completely thru at the pivot.)
Both our 82 and 87 have the antenna hole in the left front fender below the corner of the windshield. Is there another placement and if it wasn't stock, what are recommendations for afertmarket?

I'd use the RIGHT fronty fender or A pillar to keep water leaks away from the fusebox.
Some folks use LEFT fender/A pillar to keep folks from efing with the ant when parked,

Or you could install a stubby rubber duck on the right or left REAR D pillar next to the hatch like the 91 and later 245's.

Either way you will have to drill metal.
