Things that make you want to smack an engineer....

As I crossed a mudhole in my friends driveway last night, I ripped the most low hanging wire off my car...the starter signal wire.
Doh!
I hate startin my car with a flashlight and screwdriver!

I'm also a little irritated the crossmember was not adequate to support the weight of the car for 200,000 miles.

What makes you want to smack an engineer?

Gee, I kinda like the weld mark that's left on the screwdriver. not to mention the spark that leaves you seeing purple spots. : )

I am particularly fond of the trans pan and fill tube setup on my 94 940.

I know where you are coming from.
On the plus side, I learned today that removing the fill tube is a good way to drain the pan without getting fluid evarywhere.

It appears to be metal fatigue starting at the back of the inner control arm ends. My wheels toe in to about a 20' focal point when I reverse, and it leaves a black stripe from tire scrub. I hevent found any sign of a front accident, although the original wheels were a little beat....And I thought I'd replaced the entire suspension. I have located a donor car free for the hauling, so at least I only have to unmount one motor
