I happened to be walking by an active repair garage on 10th Ave. in NYC this afternoon and saw a 2-door Amazon up on a lift in the back. Looks sort of like it lives up on that lift as it was covered in quite a bit of dust, but looked like it was in pretty nice shape! Belong to anyone here on the list?

I wish....If it was a wagon, I'd really investigate, but I already have the 2-door and living with one car in NYC is quite enough for now (and the IRS took all my play money last week).

It was 10th ave around 24th or 25th, west side of the street, Chander Repair or something like that. I'm pretty sure it was black, though I suppose it could've been dark blue. I didn't do more than just see that it was an Amazon coupe in good looking condition. Hard to get an idea on the year from the back.

No, you misunderstand. I was only curious because I have seen a red sedan in the West Village at a different shop and I thought they might be getting work done somewhere else. I left a note for the owner and she contacted me but could not provide even rudimentary information such as year, mileage, etc. so I lost interest. I would rather buy one of these from someone who cares for them a bit.

My wagon is keeping me plenty busy. The next purchase will be a P1800.
