Any consensus on the best oil for 90 turbo? Synthetic or Castrol, 30w or 40w?
I'm hearing conflicting opinions ! Duh!

    Mobil 1 5W-30 or 10-30 summer.

      Ditto on the Mobil 1 10W30 and a Mann/OEM oil filter. Don't worry about the 10W30 in the summer since Mobil 1 runs a little light.

      That, of course, depends on your summer, but the turbo bearings do, indeed, like thinner oil.
      Synthetics flow better at low temperature and are more resistant to "coking" at high temperature than dino oil, so they're definitely your best bet.
