size of wrench needed for brake hoses 200 1977

Greetings all-

I am going to try and change my brake hoses this weekend, and I am going to stop by the hardware store to pick up some flare wrenches for the job. Would someone know off the top of their head what size of wrench I need to disconnect the hose from the lines?

Thanks-

Joe HC

The brake lines are 11mm and the brake hoses are 14mm. Check out EBAY for some used Snap On flare nut ones. They have twice the head thickness of lesser brands and will increase your chance of success.

Joe,

Check here for some good info:
http://brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/Brakes.htm#BrakeHoseandLineLongevityandReplacement

They are 11mm on my 745/945.

The above section of the 700/900 FAQ's stresses getting a top quality wrench.

Good luck,
Chuck
