Connector between fuel tank and fuel line 120-130

The tiny metal piece which connects the fuel tank to fuel line was lost during restoration. Is this something I can get from a hardware or plumber supply store (any idea of proper size/ threads/ etc... to look for) or do I need to hit the junk yard for replacement?

sorta kinda related 120-130

$2.45/ gallon in Portland yesterday, slowly rising every other day it seems. Just read on BBC website that in the UK, they pay equivalent US $6.10 for same quantity of fuel.

Highest price in San Fransisco: $2.99/ gallon
Lowest price in Evanston, Wyoming: $1.96/ gallon

Here's the article:

Damian

I think it is a flare to 1/8" NPT fitting. A good auto parts supply house should be able to source on of those. Mine was twisted off and I replaced it with a 1/8 NPT to 5/16" barbed fitting and used a short section of 5/16" fuel hose betweeen fitting and fuel line.

My exact numbers are dependent on my recollection (the part is at home right now). A good parts guy can read through my inexactness.

Cheers

mike

I may go the same route as the ding-dong tube-nut is "welded" to the union on the tank like no-bodies business! Hated the thought of cutting the perfectly good fuel line...
