Collision repair estimate 200

Hi!

My 1985 240 was rear-ended recently. The rear right side is kind of pushed in- it's not too horrible, and I'm not looking for it to be cosmetically perfect, but obviously I'd like the trunk to be able to latch and the rear light to be able to work again, heh.

Any ideas on what kind of estimate I should be looking for? I'm in Los Angeles.

(I ask because I have NO idea, and I find it helpful to have a ballpark figure so I at least know that I'm talking to people who know what's what.)

Thanks so much!

DIY, it can be done cheap. Hammer and blocks of wood to push out a dent, 4-ton cable puller and a concrete post to pull out a dent.

Without pics, my guess on a financial outlay - $15 for bondo/supplies and from a self-serve yard, $40 for a trunk lid, $30 for a taillight, and $30 for a bumper. Labor, about a day's worth.

Where in LA are you anyways?

Well Joanna, it needs to be pulled and pushed. I would drive up to Highland Park, and see McGibbons Auto Body, on York blvd.. How much do you want to spend? It is expensive to align doors and tailgates, etc..
