orphan wire going to fuse box from under the gear handle

I was putting back together the AC control unit and
the radio when I noticed a red electrical wire coming
from underneath the gearbox into the fuse compartment.
The end that goes into the fuse compartment was
disconnected. I can't tell what it may have been
connected to. Any ideas?

    Probably a wire to the phone cradle that is no longer connected to the side of the console.
