drive line question 700

Doing a Z22 to a AW71 transmission swap. Have a 1986-740 sedan. Putting in a tranny from a 1987 740 turbo wagon. Can anyone tell me if the drive line from the wagon (or part of it) will fit the sedan? If not, what drive line year/model should i be looking for? thanks

drive line question 700

Sedan and wagon drive lines interchange. The front and back sections are balanced as a unit, so I'd get the complete drive shaft instead of just the front section (which would make the transmission swap work mechanically).

Thanks John
That's good news. Was wondering because laying the 2 out on the ground, side by side, the length of the 1986 sedan seemed to be a little LONGER than the 1987 wagon. This "very rough" measurement being taken at what was running length (back shaft not slid forward or backward from where they were in cars).
