Just installed a new wire harness for the engine on my 86 240
does the harness and the bat wires go on the same post on starter?

Also to jump fuel pump relay jump 4&6 on left side of fuse ?

nope, had to jump both on the sides where you can see the terminals that connect to each.... hope your "jumper" has a fused circuit in it?just had trouble w/ ours, and i had to bypass fuel pump relay by doin said. good luck

not sure about the harness, but for jumpering the fuel pumps, yes i'm pretty sure its 4 and 6. check the fusebox, one is for the in-tank fuel pump, and the other fuse is for the main fuel pump. when you do this, both of the pumps turn on. it's a way of bypassing the fuel pump relay.
