Never post when you're frustrated! lol 700 1987

I was off in left field asking for help with the defroster switch on my earlier post.

Needing to 'convert' a defroster switch.

What I'm actually needing is to bypass the timer (chip) on the pc board and still have the function of the switch, relay and the LED.

The idea is to have a touch on, touch off pwr circuit with NO timer.

I finally managed to talk the owner of the car into letting me put a temp toggle switch in to get the car to my shop (here now), so I have acces to mine that's already been done.

I had intended to pop mine open and copy the solution. Thing is, I'd forgotten that mine's glued together! lol I may have to just crack the glued parts apart and go that route, but I'd rather not.

His (the one to be converted and used) is right here in my hand, but the eyes aren't what they once were and I'm having a hard time tracing circuits.

Thanks,
Frank
