Interchangeable body parts/Houston Area Pick n Pull 200 1984

As some of you may know, I just moved to Houston, TX from Columbus, OH a few weeks ago. When I woke up this morning, I went out to smoke a cigarette to find The Dirty Brown had been violated. It appears that someone has backed into the passenger side and left without acknowledging the fact. So now I need a passenger front fender, windshield and front passenger door. Since I'm new to the area, I don't have any ideas on where to look for a good pick and pull with a nice selection of mid eighties 244s. Any help would greatly be appreciated as I wanna fix my faithful car. She's been good to me for a while now, so I feel the need to return the kindness....

I'm wondering if parts from another year might fit. I don't know how hard it'll be to find a pick and pull with an 84 244DL that I can grab the parts from.

Also, I've never used a pick and pull so I'm unsure as what a fair price would be for 1) passenger side front fender 2) passenger side front door and 3) windshield.

Thanks so much for your help....

Matt

Sorry to hear some of our Houston neighbors violated your car. Pick-a-Part is pretty good, and I just got info from a fellow Houston Brickster that the one on Wallisville has the better selection of Volvos than the North Houston site. I haven't had the need to go junking in awhile, but B.C. or volvostud may have some more info. Good Luck.

Just grab the yellow pages and start calling wreckers.
Fenders and doors from any 240 Volvo will fit, except doors from 242s. It's pretty much just a question of finding the right color. I wouldn't pay more than 60 or 70 beans total for a fender and door. Bargain with them if they quote you some crazy price.

Unless you're a whiz with glass, just get a new windshield put in by a good glass shop.
