Hello again.

Under the dash, just to the left of the steering wheel, is a round relay with many terminals in a cirlce. If I'm right, this is the bulb out warning relay. I have an extra one lying around and would like to know if it can be rigged as a fog light relay for my discount chain fogs. If not, would anyone like to trade me for a headlight or foglight relay?

When the bulb-out relay triggers, it passes current through a 1.2W bulb - and its internal switch is probably rated for about this amount...not the 110W of a pair of fog lamps.

You can salvage Hella 30-amp relays from many Euro cars in the PnP, or brand new Bosch (or clones) automotive relays are available from Jameco.com or Partsexpress.com for less than $3. Order the relay sockets at the same time and cut down on your wiring hassles.

Jim - '92 Red 245 'The Radio Flyer' Recently struck by a tree limb. With replacement body panels, it's not so much Red as Three Tone. Hello Maaco.

Any generic 12v relay will do the job, ranging in price from cheap to free depending on the source.

hi there, dont think you want to use that relay. many easier setups with smaller relays. check out daveshannon web site. daveshan@cox.net some good info with pics. good luck.
