Hi all

After the alternator intallation battery light comes on when car off. When running no idiot lights. The battery has been charged. Any thoughts

All the idiot lights are supposed to be on when the key is at II position, engine off. They are supposed to go off when the engine is started. So I think your system is working.

Alternator in not grounded properly. Same thing happaned to me.

Is is just a case of unusrewing the wire and refiiting it on the alternator till the light turns off?
