power steering belts??? noise when turning/ kind rough 700

I was wondering if I needed to replace my power steering belts or what. Mt car squeeks and is hard to turn sometimes

    If you belt is showing any cracking, replace it. The belt is probably loose if its squealing. Check for about .5 inch play on belt. If more than that, could be slipping. If thats ok, then maybe you have oil or something on the belt, or your power steering pump is going bad (you can check by releasing belt tension to see if you can easily turn your pump pulley by hand).
