Center dash replacement question....All years the same? 200

So my cigarette lighter in the center dash was rattling, and I thought that part popped out just like the other switches around it, but I was wrong...I cracked it. So now I am going to junkyard tomorrow and want to know if all 240 center dash parts are the same. I know earlier models had a radio below, where my later model,91, has a storage space, but are they all the same? Thanks in advance.

Center dash replacement question....All years the same? 200

    Hello,

The center consoles do not match up from older models (86-89 or90) with the later models dashes. The dashes changed slightly, so the center console must match the those with the same year range dashes.

i pulled my dash out of my 86 wagon and installed a 93 dash from another wagon (wagon or sedan, no diff). the old center console didn't match up with the new dash. I wound up getting the center console, the kneepad, the plastic cowling around the steering wheel, and the plastic thing that goes over the ignition switch.

all had to be replaced. and boy did i get tired of returning to the junkyard over and over again.

    regards,
