yea, well! i'm standin out there thinkin.... this is a real good example of man versus machine....tryin to keep my sense of humor about it all.... still can't get over the fact that my local dealer"just isn't sure" about what to sell me! i will wait until the relay that's supposed to be the correct one comes, put it in, and then we'll see...bout all i can do for now. i mean, i've had my share of problems, but this beats all. i built the engine in my '78 924 from the oil pan up, have some pretty major issues w/ the wiring harness in the car it's in, and it still runs like a scared rabbit!! so, i will continue to gather as much info as i can, and i thank you all for your thoughts, suggestions, prayers, and will gladly accept any more advice you may think of in the meantime. by the way, just so i will know, i've never heard of these cars referred to as "bricks"?? we've always called them swedish refrigerators,as when i had a station wagon in the 80's, my friends called it the swedish refrigerator, because if you stood it up against a wall, it would look like a refrigerator! have a good day, louis
