Are all 960 wheel offsets the same as FWD Volvos?

    '95+ 960s have the FWD offset. '94 and earlier have a RWD offset.

      So I could use S60 or S80 wheels on my 97 965?

        Subject to a limit of 6.5 inches in width. Anything wider and you may hit the front struts. I tried a 7 inch wide S80 wheel on my car and it only cleared by about 1/32 of an inch. I estimated when I cornered the rim would be rubbing the strut. Or, if an alignment made the camber shift a little or.....

        '96 965, 16' wheels, rear 18mm bar & Koni + 204HP cams at 124K. Had '85 745 Turbo Diesel for 200K.

          I thought S90 SE 16" alloys were 7" wide(?) I could certianly be wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere. Maybe their offset is slighly different or something. I forget what those wheels are called; Murcellus or something like that. 1/32 of an inch certainly isn't much!

            Yes, "ANDROMEDA" alloys were 7x16" and offset 43 mm.

            Newer 16" wheels fom S60, V70 and S80 have different offset: 49 mm.

            But newer 15" wheels (not the new S40/V50) have the old offset 43 mm.

              Figures that the 960 and the S60 wheels have different off sets. I was over at my Indy mechanics shop and he has 2 sets of S60R wheels on the shelf that I thought might look good on my Black 960.
