Moment of silence for my comrades..... 200

http://www.airforcetimes.com/story....2925-758995.php

I know I should be posting more info of ALL the wonderful comrades I have in the military dying each and everyday. But this one was closer to me, I was stationed there 4 years ago, some of my old maintenance friends were TDY with this bird. They are all ok, Flight crew were all killed though (9 total, only takes 7 to crew Talon II). Sad Sad day for such a small unit in England. We of AFSOC, once AFSOC always AFSOC. No matter where we go and get stationed, Special Ops guys stay bonded closer no matter where we meet and find each other through out the world.

Oh well, I just figured cause you guys are like a close knit crew of people from all over that I am currently getting good ties with, I would share this with you guys and how I fealt.

I recognize that being in the military means putting your life on the line in combat or training, every day, doing stuff civilians have no idea about. (ex-army here). So I appreciate what the military does every day while in service to our country. When they die for us it just makes it that much more.
We would not be here but for them.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You (and all your comrades) are in our thoughts.

Thank you sir,

What really is the worst part about all this (except for them dying) is the fact that it was a training mission. Not even REAL WORLD digs, just training for the real thing...well it IS AFSOC, so maybe it was a real world event but USAF people want to keep it on the downlow

They have a tough job, and our thoughts/prayers go out to their family for their service and sacrifice.
