Rear end bump on acceleration S90-V90 1996

I get a multiple 2-3X bump on the floorpan/body on acceleration from a dead stop. It reminds me of the pinion bumper noise I used to get on hard aceleration from pinion wrap-up on my Mopar, except this is an independent rear. Is there some sort of rubber isolator/bumper somwhere that's bad now? Any pictures? Experience? Just turned 101k last week although I've noticed it previously. I originally thought it was the transmission mount so I changed it, no help. Checked the carrier bearing for the drive shaft & it feels good too. Thanks.

There sure is a rubber donut or isolator over the differential. Not exactly like the snubber on the solid axle cars you're used to, but the same function. A lot of 760 sedan owners know about this noise.

However, make sure it's not just the exhaust thumping. Check all the mounts and hangers, and push on it hard to see if you can get it to thump the body.

    Good luck!
