nivomat swap (non IRS) 700

I posted this on the 900 section but there doesn't seem to be much knoledge over there on this subject.
My 94 965 with live axle came with novomats from the factory. At 110k miles they the right rear gave up the ghost. No saging but when I go over speed bumps the right rear is much softer than the left with lots of rebound. Car does a sort of diagonal bounce. I never really liked the nivomats. My cousin's 90 740 rides much better in the rear.
So I want to swap to a regular suspension on the cheap. I ordered turbo gas shocks from IPD ($43 each). Then I picked up some rear springs ($13 each) from a 88 745 without nivomats and a 19mm rear sway bar ($15) from a 85 760 diesel sedan. The 965 came with a 16mm rear sway bar from the factory. While I have the rear suspension up, what other parts should I upgrade/replace? From a visual inspection all the bushings look OK. No cracks or splits as far as I can tell. I've some people also replace the bolts for the shocks?
Thanks for your help
Justin

Just to add to this, the 940SE station wagon has nivomat shocks(2.5 inch dia) where the 940SE sedan IRS has nivomats(3-inch dia) as well. I have replacement springs and shocks and a new sway bar for the wagon, just haven't had time to get it done.

There's not a whole lot to replace. I will say this however. The Bilstein HDs worked out really well in back, a bit too firm in front for my taste. That said, changing out the fronts made a bigger difference as to that diagonal bounce.

New shock bolts are a good idea, if you damage them in removing the shocks.

You're in Marin (so says your turbobricks profile)? e-mail me if you wanna see how my wagon rides (no comments about the interior however.. }:>).

Well the diagonal bounce only happends with the rear axle goes over the bump. So I don't know.
Thanks for the offer. I am in San Rafael. I think a comparison is a great idea. But I already bought/ordered all the parts so maybe we should do a side by side after I have everything installed. I'll have everything done before the end of April. Sorry I don't access to your E-mail because I don't log in.

You can PM me on the turbobricks forums as well (blarf). I'm currently not living in Marin anymore, but I'm there at least a few times a week. I'll be back in San Rafael in a few weeks for #@$#@! traffic court.
