are they 15in or 14in or can you get them in both?

    There were some aftermarket ones in the 80's that are 14". Otherwise, the OEM's are 15".

    FWIW, they won't fit 740's if you have the larger 11" jumbo or 11.25" big brakes up front.

      I believe the original GT alloys were 5 spoke 14" wheels that look like Virgos.

        No, the early 5-spoke ones were 5 wide spokes with a thick center section. The 14" Virgo look-alikes were aftermarket. iPd may have sold 'em.

          You're correct, the 14's were sold by IPD, they were DP Pentasport. Was DP the OEM for Virgo's? I think so.

      I have a 1985 740 GLE with some 14in alloys and i can't seem to find those same 14inchers any place else.

        If you are talking about the un-loved Dersus or its homely 15" cousin, they are easily found in almost any pick and pull. No one takes them, usually. As for Draco and Virgo, easily half the used ones you see will wobble or be bent. One needs to spin them and observe.
