Hello guys,

I have a question,

sometimes when i am at a stop light and waiting for the red light to accelerate quick. i put mu foot down and sometimed the car "stalls" momentarily but picks it up again. this does not happen everytime but once in a while but i would like to get to the bottom of it.

Has anybody seen this? any suggestions?

    Have you checked all your vacuum hoses? Sounds like it could be a vaccuum leak. When was the last time you had the car serviced? The plugs might be fouled and misfiring after periods at idle. Check that your injectors are ok as well, if you are running too rich, there may be too much fuel and it will stall for a bit until it burns out all the fuel and the A/F ratio is returned to normal. Does it happen worse when you first start up in the morning?

      Hello,

      I was just checking my car because i need to do the mog check, just checked the plugs, and they're OK. the cap & rotor, OK. the vacuum hoses are OK except that i do know the the booster needs to be replaced (could that be it?). need to check the oxygen sensor and plug wires.

      it only does it when i need to acclerate cold or warm..thanks for the help.
