I remember I had two dealers under my favorites that discounted Volvo Parts.
I couldn't remember who they were. I remember only that one was in New England and other I thought was Borton. Well I just called Borton up and they just quoted me a price $80 more with my VCOA membership discount than my dealer on an interior door skin. Any of you guys know any other dealers that do discounting through internet sales. $538 is tough to swallow for a door panel.

Email Jon Reynolds at Borton. As he is generally overwhelmed with emails, call him the next day to confirm.

If this is the puckering problem, didn't they have an exchange program on 'em?

While I would never deliberately mislead anyone, take into consideration that any information and advice provided was at no cost to you.

To get the internet pricing you have to email them. They are hit and miss though with a quick response... If I don't get a reply within a day I call them and ask about it. I've never mentioned my VCOA membership to them.

Recently someone posted about Beechmont Volvo having good prices as well, for comparison I called both for prices. Borton beat Beechmont by 23% and I needed to mention my VCOA membership to Beechmont (no number, just that I was a member). I heard that Beechmont has free shipping also so this will reduce the percentage of savings.

I would give Borton another try and ask for John in internet sales. I have called there previously and was quoted higher prices by the regular parts counter guys. John's the man to talk to.
