Blower Motor 900

92 960 wagon. Slowly over the past few weeks my air flow out of my vents has diminished. Now when I start the car somtimes the fan doesn't come on. Its not working in any fan speed. When it does run it runs in all selections. Could this be the blower motor going out? If so is this one easier to get to than on a 240?

God yes, anything is easier than a 240 blower fan. Seriously though, we did tons of the 240 blower fans back in the day and they aren't that bad once you've done a few hundred of them. The 900 series blower fans are an absolute cake walk by comparison and from the sound of things I'd say that you are going to become real familiar with it. The next time it is not working just drop the panel down so you have access to the plug for it and make sure that you are in fact getting power and ground. So long as you have power and ground and you have sufficient power (i.e. enough amperage to push that motor) then you need a motor. If you feel like it you could probably set it on low fan speed and reach up through the recirc door intake and give it a spin. If it is as on the edge as you say it will probably start running if you gave it a little push start and if it does then you have a difinitve diagnosis right there.
