currently, i have hubcaps like these:

i dislike those hubcaps a lot. they're ugly.

i got a set like these:

which are a lot nicer. they're not aftermarket or anything, they're real volvo caps. i just CAN'T GET THEM ON. i'm afraid of pushing too hard and breaking the clips. i got these from my friend so they're used and the metal ring/clips are a bit rusty. i'm scared. help.

      i put a bid on ebay for those cool center caps/steel trim dealies. they look prettier. it's always nice to have two sets of spare caps ;)

    My be a dumb question but do you have the valve stim in the valve stim slot? If you don't put it in the right slot it will not go on right.

      yeah i think i've lined everything up right. it just looks like it'd take a lot of force to put them on and i don't know if i'm supposed to do that.

      the caps i have on there now came with the car. i also had them on my other brick of the same year.

      BTW, those were ugly....... Where did you get those? Good call on the newer ones. I just went with the center caps and beauty rings and like the look of those better. to each their own.
