Hmmm....I've got the Turanza LS-T's on the 83 and on the Dodge Grand Caravan, two VERY different vehicles. Very smooth, fairly quiet (you will soon know in a 240 if you have noisy tires) and nice handling. Good cornering grip, no squeal until you get serious, and then predictable traction loss. Remember the "T" stands for touring - they are not a perfomance tire.
They required very little weight to get a quality balance, which I think indicates a well-made tire. Not great in snow, but good in rain - at least with the plentiful tread depth we have remaining. The minivan weighs 4100lbs and after 15k miles only about 1/4 of tread is gone.
