Volvo 740 - 1988 model 700

I am changing my front rotors due to excessive wear and warping. Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between rotors for bendix and girling calipers?
I have bendix calipers on my car.

Thanks
IJ.

I believe you will find that your '88 will take the "906" rotors. That would be the last 3 numbers in the part number. Different part if it's a Turbo with ABS brakes.

Some of these cars still have original "one piece" rotors, with the bearing in the middle of the rotor. If so, there's a hub conversion kit needed, or you can get hubs from any junk converted car, or later-model 740 or 940. Apparently the one piece rotors are not sold any more, so more conventional separate hubs and rotors are required.

Thanks for the help. I think I will just pull the rotor out of the car and hit my local parts store to ensure compatibility. There seem to be a million and one different types of rotors for this vehicle and you just don't know what you have.
