i replaced the seals for all four injectors today. went smoothly and followed the write in the faq section. i changed them because the #2 seal was seeping gas. after the new seals the #2 injector is still leaking. i cleaned in the port and the injector went in smoothly. could the injector be bad somehow, why might it still be leaking?

i replaced the top and bottom seals. i will try swapping the injector to see if that is the problem. the car is my g/f's and we live in 45 miles apart during the semester. when i go back home for spring break i will check it out

Try swapping injectors to see if the problem follows "#2".

Did you replace both o-rings on each injector or just the manifold side? Were the injectors an easy fit on the rack anadifold or did you have to push them in? If there is a loose fit on either end, you may have other problems.

both seals on the injectors were replaced. it was a snug fit on them. it is leaking at the manifold and not the rail, same as before

I went through this exact same thing. Went to the trouble of replacing all the o-ring seals. It turned out that the body of the injector was leaking and I had to replace the injector itself. I also saw fuel puddling at the point where the injector seats in the manifold. I'm not saying this is your situation, but it's definitely a possibility. Probably not what you want to hear.

i was hoping not to hear that but i was figuring as much. the car runs good with no big problems. i see what looks like gas bubbling up from the injetor at the manifold after the motor is off. i think that it is from the injector itself. i will try to look for a junkyard replacement in the next few weeks. it is not pouring out so i think i will be safe. if you guys have any other thoughts let me know
