was getting ready to place an order for some vacuum hose for my SAAB, and thought i'd order some extra for my 89 740 Turbo.

generally speaking, what sizes should i be picking up?

The Saab needs 3.5mm and 6mm.

4.2mm and 6.6mm

4.2mm is for most everything under the hood. My 765T used the 6.6mm only for the cruise control system.

are those inner diameters?


or those sizes found just on volvo's, or are they somewhat commone for european cars?

I do believe they are inner diameter, not sure if they are standard sizes for european cars. I do know that they are common for Volvo.
