seeking opinions on buying a 945t 900 1993

Hi folks,

been a regular reader on this board for a while. great info.

i have a chance to buy one 93 945T with 128k, third seat, some blemish on the hood [losing clearcoat i think]. i like the vehicle because it has the new freon r134 and it's the fire-engine red in color. the car has a fair interior for its age. owner is asking 4,500.00 and wont budge from the price. hes not the original owner but have had he car for about 4 years. new tires and recent a/c work done.

what do you guys think.

thanks for your inputs.

btw, i've done all my homeowork on edmund and kbb already.

regards

I think the price it too high for the condition you've described. I too had the wagon version and they are a little nicer compared to my 94 sedan but I think the price is set too high. Hold out for something else at a lower price. They are out there. I only paid $2700 for my 94 sedan with 125k. Rock solid car. Good luck.

If the car was in good shape, for my taste, I would pay that much. This car could easily get 250K on the clock and mayby more.

Depends upon your region of the country. Sounds about a $500-1000 too high for here in the N.E.
