Omega Rims 700 1992

Just wanted to clarify before I bought these.
Junkyard near me has 5 15" omega rims. Are they worth $150? Will they fit a 92 740 wagaon with ABS?
TIA
Drew

My Blue '87 240 Wagon has 15" Omegas on it and I enjoy them. The Omegas and the Rigels are some of the strongest 15" wheels that you can get for a 200/700/900 Volvo and they'll easily fit over the ABS brake calipers on the later 700/900 cars.

I agree, they do look like the late model hubcaps, but they do make the car look nicer and it sharpens it up much better than the hubcaps (the paint on the Omegas is more reflective and vibrant than the plastic hubcaps). The aluminum wheels also help provide added cooling for the brake rotors as they conduct heat away from the rotors better than the steel wheels.

    God bless,
    Fitz Fitzgerald.

MAybe, if they are straight, have all center caps and do not need paint. Otherwise, why spend good money for alloys that look just like DL hubcaps?

    Hi Drew,

$150 would be fair for a set of Omegas. I've used my set on my '91 745T (ABS), so they should work fine on your '92 :)

Thanks for your input. I think I am going to let it go for now. As long as things are round and the car drives I will be fine.
That and I think the $$ they would have cost (+mount and balance) actually needs to be spent on a front end clunk.
