Hi.
I think something broke inside my tailgate hatch handle since I cant open from the outside, only from the inside. It is an enormous pain in the butt. If anyone can help or has parts, your input is greatly aprreciated.

I have the same problem with my 740 wagon. It seems that the return spring that pulls the lever back to it's position is broken and it would not re-engage the latch to open after unlocking the car. Try pushing the lever all the way in towards the car and then cycle the power locks via the key in the door. Then it should open. Hope this works.
