740 radius arm bushings..experience with replacements 700

Does anyone have any experience with the replacement kits that people use to replace the original radius arm bushings. Some people say they are very hard rubber and squeak. Does anyone make an improved plain old rubber ones that are just a little better than the original. Can anyone compare the ones that are at ipd vs fcp grotons...thanks in advance...Jeffrey

I assume you're talking about the front/cone bushings?

I replaced mine on two cars with the poly bushings from FCP Groton. I highly recommend them. No squeeking (they come with a grease pack to use on install). I look foreward to NOT having to replace them so frequently in the future.

Just replaced mine with the urethane kit from FCP. They did not come with grease and they are noisy.

It seems they need grease on installation and FCP don't always provide it.
