Hello Everyone,

I have recently fallen in love with Volvos especially the 240 DL model. I live in the Kansas City area and I have been searching everywhere for the car to no avail. I do not want leather and want an automatic that has been cared for as it should be. If anyone can help me out on any leads I would be so grateful.

Come to NJ. They're a dime-a-dozen here ;)


If you get a wagon, I'd recommend the GL model because (a) power
windows are nice and (b) they have real leather, not that vinyl
stuff that gets sticky and sweaty in summer.


Some wagons may have been made with cloth interiors, but I think
that cloth interiors are pretty rare.

Get online and check the classifieds in the St Louis Post-Dispatch, if you can't find anything closer.

240 Volvos sell for 40% less in KC than they do in St Louis. Happy hunting!
