Heated mirror / rear window problem 700

Hi

I seem to be getting an occasional problem with the heated mirrow rear window swtich - I've looked in the FAQ and can't see anything there...
The switch keeps on turning itself off after a couple of seconds and then won't work again for a good dozen presses. I can feel and hear the switch click off when this happens. The fuse is fine (well it is now it's the right one in there and not a 10 amp one!).

    Hello,
    Sounds as if the switch is faulty. I believe they have a timer in them that turns the switch off after 10 minutes, and yours is cutting off too soon. Dont know why it would work properly sometimes. Hope this helps Kyle123 (James)
