This is probably a worn out question, but how many vacuum hoses and where are they on the B230F this is an automatic. I have a rough idle, changed plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor. The check engine light was coming on for a while. Found I could remove the 25amp fuse under the hood and the light would go out and the idle would smooth out and purr like a kitten.

Is there a place on the site for this issue?

Check the vacumn hoses under the dash also.I'm in the process of fixing the air horn at the back of the heater A/C box. This means taking the box out of the dash making the repair and then putting it back in.After 8 hours the box was out the horn repaired and the box is sitting back in it's proper place.
Then the dash pad goes back in and the wiring. This is not a job for the faint of heart.You need to have a vacumn gage in your tool box and do a vacumn on every hose under the dash. That skip is causing you fuel mileage and most of all horse power.Also if you have to pull the box get the vacumn cleaner out and get up in the cowel vent you won't believe what will come out of it.Where's Art when you need him for brains on what to do next in this on and going problem. I got this 88/245 wagon in September and the cowl was full of pine needles and I got all of that fixed but the skip wouldn't go away so I'm down to this and I know that this will fixed the problem.It's my luck that the vacumn leak was at the back of the box,of all the Volvo's that I've owned this is the first with a leak at the back of the box.I would hate to ask what a dealership would get for doing this job. It is a( S O ) you know the last letter. At least it is 70 deg. here in Huntersville NC today.

Yes, I failed to mention this. I also changed the intake hose to the Throttle body as well.
