960 Power stage compatibility 900

So, what I originally thought was a coil failure turned out to be a power stage failure. I found a good deal on a 940 power stage, and am wondering if the part will work on a 960.

Does anyone know if the 940 and 960 power stages are interchangeable? Thanks

Each power stage on the 960 handles 3 cylinders. They cannot be interchanged with the 940.

I found one for about $165 on the web at http://germanparts.com/AllParts/AllPartNumbers_55.html. I believe the part number is Bosch 0227100203.

If you find a better deal for this part, please post your findings. I'll probably be replacing the same part soon.

they are not. the 960 uses a different part number than the 940. good luck, chuck.
