Will Saab 9000 Wheels fit my 94 944? 900

Someone is selling a set of snow tires with rims. The tire size is 185/65/15 and they are from a early '90 Saab 9000. Can someone let me know whether the bolt pattern and offset will fit on my 1994 944? Thanks

I've seen a 90 744t in my area with C70 rims on it that look quite awesome. They really make the car stand out. Always see him going down the road and spoke to him at a red light one day to tell him they looked sharp... Tom 27940aholic 91 745t 236k 91 940SE 129k

The tires would be a fine fit, but the wheels are "no f'in way".

      I beg to differ 900

If a Volvo wheel fits on a Saab, then a Saab wheel must fit a Volvo. Bolt pattern is the same and offset is 30mm which is right in the middle between FWD and RWD Volvos.

That's a 9-3, not a 9000. AFAIK all 9000s use 4x108mm, 99s and early 900s used 4x114.3mm, later 900s used the 4x108mm as the 9000. The new gen 900s, 9-3, and 9-5 all appear to use 5x110mm wheels. The 9-2x and 9-7x will obviously use different bolt patterns.

So is that safe to say the wheels will fit no problem?

It seems to me that "no problem is a relative term. If my memory is still working the 940 bolt pattern is 5 x 108mm with a 23 mm offset. (The FWD and later 960/S/V/90 had a 43 mm offset.)

The wheel may go on but the studs will be stressed by 1 mm per side and the wheel center hole may not mate so that the wheel runs true. I wouldn't do it!

Yes, the wheels might fit, but the Volvo wheels in the picutere ade 850r wheels that are made for the front wheel drive platform, such as the Saab is. Will still might work if youg get spacers though. This can be expensive.
          Good luck and happy bricking.
