Single vs Double brakes 1800 1800

What would happen if I replaced the front suspension of my 67, with single circuit brakes with a later model double circuit front suspension? Would my master cylinder be able to provide enough pressure? By a visual inspection, I see where I could run two short steel lines to make the connection. I'll also need to weld on a new clip for the clutch slave cylinder. Would this significantly change the balance of the front discs to rear drums?

    Not sure exactly what you are trying to end up with, but the easiest way to get dual circuit brakes is to change master cylinder. IPD has a kit to adapt to the earlier cars. With this and some minor changes in the brake lines, you would have the first dual ciruit system used where the front and rears are on seperate circuits.
    You can't get dual circuit brakes without changing the master cylinder.
    No change in calipers is necessary to get this type of dual circuit brakes.

      Thanks ... what threw me for a loop was the fact that my parts car, a 69 was retrofitted sometime with a brake system from a later model ES with four wheel disks. Its front hubs and rotors are different from the ones on my 67. My 67 has a dual circuit system, which I mistakenly thought was a single circuit system. Since the 69's front suspension had recently been redone, I was considering swapping it, hubs and all, with the suspension from my 67.
