ohio volvo resources 700

Bonsoir à tous:

I'm trying to expand my list of available volvo resources in Ohio and Pennsylvania. You should be thinking parts cars. Are there any OH/PA members that have salvage yard recommendations? I'm halfway between Columbus and Cleveland. I'm looking for a good b230ft to drop in an 88 760 that I just stole for 200 bucks. Beautiful California car but a motor with four non-factory holes. If I ever figure out how to post pictures I will upload them. Quite a sight. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

that's the first thing I asked my local Volvo dealer when I moved here to Pa. Here's two they refered to me:

Weber Brothers in Lebanon, Pa. 800 222-2528

and

Erie Vovo (yes I spelled it correctly "Vovo") I believe they are in NY state... 888 865-8613

I have not had to use either of them (yet).

Carl Drennan's Volvo Shop in Ravenna, OH. is a good source. (In NE Ohio.)

Try this link. It is a nation wide salvage yard search engine. As far as finding a B230ft call around the local yards in the yellow pages. Sometimes you can get lucky price wise. Usually a B230FT with 100-125K miles can be had for $750 or less. I have found that most of the time the price can get up there since most yards are not stupid when it comes to what parts are really worth.
I wish you had posted about 2 months ago. A yard by me had two 940 Turbos a 93 and a 94 that got rear ended with good motors. Motors were the first thing yanked out of them. They are located west of Greater Pittsburgh Airport off Rt 60 with in 20 miles of the Ohio border.
