Dash Lights 200

I just changed out my clock for the large diameter tach.

However, the tach is not lit up. Are the dash lights integral to the tach, or separate on the board?

The clock was lit fine.

Thanks,

Mike

Same sort of thing has happened to me. Bulbs are fine until I worked on something nearby, then they're out. Must be 90% burned out, and the jiggling does in the balance 10%.

The bulbs are listed in the owner's manual as 3Watt, type W2.1x9.5d, and there are two needed. Do them both.

Can be done without removing the instrument cluster. Requires laying on one's back on the driver's floor mat (clean first?) and reaching way up there. Use a flashlight, and do it after dark. BTDT x 5 or more. Each takes 1/4 turn to pull. I do it largely by feel.

    Good Luck,

    Bob

No light in the tach. The panel bulbs have a habit of burning out when you take apart the dash. I don't know why but it has happened to me a few times. You can get at it without taking out the panel from underneath with a flashlight.
