Yeah but the "contact seller" link has now been removed from all completed auctions. I used to shop this way all the time but apparently Ebay thinks they're losing too much money by letting you contact the seller of an unsold item. So if the seller has current items for sale, you can contact them that way, by "asking seller a question" on an unrelatetd item, otherwise, you're SOL. Remember when your email address could be your userid? Ebay has taken total control over all buyer-seller communications. This really sucks in my opinion, because it's like telling a guy who has paid for his flea market spot that he can't pass out business cards or sell his item to a potential customer at a later date.
Sorry about the rant but when Ebay was born, it was the perfect example of a free market. I've been a member since '99 and every change I've seen them make has been for the worse. It now takes about 45-60 seconds for me to check completed auctions on dialup. Funny how the active auctions (the one's that get a FVF), pop right up.
Twombo, I have a gas tank out of a 122 wagon that has been rear-ended, It doesn't leak but it's bent. I don't much want to remove it or ship it though, so probably not much help. Come get it for free though. Southwest Colorado.
