injured 245 needing advice 200

A Little more than a week ago another car pulled into my path, I grazed them, but suffered damage to the fender, door, rocker panel, and wheel/suspension. The insurance company only offered me $~1100 after all of the deductables etc.

Needless to say I am in one of the country's Volvo towns, Portland, OR. Any advice for the repair of the rocker panel and suspension. Wheel still rotates, steering rack seems to work, but the one wheel is canted out at the top away from the centerline.

Thanks George.

I'll add more details later.

The bodywork, you'll have to decide how to proceed with.

But part #9 in the diagram will almost definitely need to be replaced. That's the lower control arm, and they're fairly soft steel. Yours is probably bent back. As long as the steering rack is OK, you can replace just that, and get an alignment, and be back on the road.
See www.fcpgroton.com for prices on all that stuff.

    Good luck with it!

Suspension - check for bent suspension components - strut tube, tie rod, A-arm, etc. An alignment check should reveal the details.

Wheel - jack up the car and spin the tire. If it wobbles, the wheel is bent. Prolly cheaper to just replace with another wheel.

Rocker panel - if it's not too bashed in, live with it. If it is and you don't want to have to cut/replace the entire piece, have the section pulled, filled, and repaint both sides with a durable textured black or charcoal paint.
