rewiring r-sport gauges 140-160

ok got a couple sets of r-sport gauges. they all have broken boards. i'm going to be putting them in my 140s so the origanal wiring will not line up with the plugs in my car. so i will be rewiring the gauges instead of tring to fix the pcb. they share the same plugs for temp, gas, parking brake, and brake failure. the bulb out and high beams are switched. the od and amps are switched. and egr, turns, and ch are switched. my car does not have a egr system so i will delete that circit. i will replace that light with the other turn since the r-sport cluster shares one light for both turns. the r-sport cluster also does not have an oil warning light. so i will be adding one next to the gauge. i will also be moving the amp warning light up next to the volts. i will also be ading a knock warning light between the speedo and tack. i will be left with one open warning/indicator light position open.

any suggestions for a light to go there?

what is the ch light for? is it for choke? my car is fuel injected. i have never had it come on in my car. it is not on the r-sport cluster. so if it is not needed i will leave it out.

there are several little capasitors or risistors on the boards. they all go between the amp circit and the indicator lights for parking brakes, brake failure, turns and od. are they realy needed? are they what turns the amp warning light on? does anyone know what they are? my multi-meter is broken. can i reuse the ones from the boards?

i will post pics of the procceses when i get more done than tracing out the circits and dismantaling them.
