Yeah I was looking at a local used car lot and saw a 93 Volvo 960. This is an interesting car. First of all it has a 16 Valve V6 who makes that engine...Volvo does not unless they had some help Penta, Peugeot. It has 140,000 miles on it and it is in pretty good shape needs some minor stuff moonroof switch. The guy wants $2K. Any ideas...

Hi, thats a B6304 inline 6 made by Volvo, not peugeot. The cam belts last only 30k on that year so very important to know when it was changed. 2k is a good price if it checks out. Like previously stated the faq covers this model well.

Are you sure about that engine? The engine for the 960 is a Volvo - made straight 6, 24 valve. A V6 would have either 12 or 24 valves. There is good information in the 700/900 FAQ about this car. If all checks out it can be pretty nice if not, it can be hell on wheels. Try a search on 960 for more.
